Dailymotion is the second largest video file-sharing website, one of the most visited sites in the world and one of the biggest digital media companies inEurope. Daniel’s role is focused on international markets –effectively everything apart fromFranceand theUS. He oversees a new international content team of content acquisition managers and editors operating in key territories around the world. Daniel and the team establish new partnerships, and strengthen existing ones, with content owners for sports, music, film and news.
Daniel qualified as a commercial lawyer specialising in new media and communications and also has an MBA fromOxford. Before joining Dailymotion he was Managing Director at Livestation building it into a successful online TV business. When he joined Livestation it was a start up online TV business streaming live TV news channels to PCs, mobiles and internet connected TVs. It now has around 10 million monthly unique viewers watching a mixture of free and premium live TV content.
