Peter Goldstein is Director of Communications for InterMedia, a global research consultancy that equips clients in media, government and development to connect effectively with people worldwide. Previously, Peter spent 20 years in print, electronic and web journalism, first as a correspondent and bureau chief for Dow Jones Newswires in Europe, then as the first overseas editor for WSJ.com. Peter also served as senior editor for global and economic news for U.S.publisher Kiplinger, where his duties included work on the award-winning Kiplinger.com website. At InterMedia, Peter is in charge of developing and implementing communications and outreach strategies for InterMedia (www.intermedia.org), with an emphasis on the digital environment. He is also the originator and project director of AudienceScapes (www.audiencescapes.org), a widlely-used online knowledge center for media and communication research funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Peter holds a Masters Degree in African studies fromJohnsHopkinsUniversity’s Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelors Degree in Politics from theUniversity ofCalifornia,Santa Cruz.
