Emma Read, Managing Director, Emporium Productions

Award winning executive producer Emma Read founded Emporium Productions in 2015.  Emma has made and commissioned thousands of hours of factual television and many of the programmes she makes have access to people and institutions at their heart. From Inside The World’s Toughest Prisons (Netflix) to Harrow: A Very British School (Sky), Video and Teenage Diaries (BBC2), Inside The Freemasons (Sky) and Rich House Poor House (Channel 5) her original productions capture the modern appetite for engaging, entertaining and relevant programmes with purpose. 

Prior to Emporium Emma was Head of Factual for ITN Productions, factual commissioning editor at Sky, Discovery and Animal Planet and a documentary producer working for the BBC, C4, ITV and other channels for many years
