William Warren

William Warren is a Senior Creative Producer at The Economist. He joined the newspaper five years ago for the launch of the multi-award-winning daily news podcast The Intelligence. He has produced and sound-designed podcasts at The Economist including science and technology programme Babbage and interview show The Economist Asks. Guests include Bill Gates, Henry Kissinger & Margaret Atwood.

William started his career creating podcasts for the British Forces Broadcasting Service. In 2018 he was shortlisted for Breakthrough Talent by the AIBS for his work creating podcasts for service personnel. Judges describe his podcast Cassidy Little – Coming Home as “First-person storytelling at it’s best… one of the most absorbing pieces of radio”.

He has produced videos and podcasts for brands including The BBC, Resident Advisor and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
