Daniel Morin boasts over 20 years of experience in the television industry, excelling as both a seasoned line producer and producer. His expertise lies notably in character-driven television series, encompassing both live action and animation, as well as feature film productions. Throughout his career, Morin has spearheaded the production of hundreds of hours of content, collaborating on domestic and co-production projects with countries such as France, Germany, Finland, Sweden, and Australia. These productions have garnered international acclaim, airing on esteemed networks including CBC, Showcase, Bravo, Discovery Channel Canada & USA, Travel Channel, BBC, ZDF, Current TV (USA), Foxtel (Australia), and France 2.
During his tenure at Vice Studio Canada, where he served as VP of Production for three years, Morin played a pivotal role in delivering over 170 hours of original, award-winning content to audiences worldwide.
For the past two years, Morin has been an integral part of Rezolution Pictures. His notable achievements include the production of “Aging Well Suzuki Style,” a documentary focusing on David Suzuki, which earned a nomination for the 2021 Canadian Screen Award (CSA). Additionally, Morin recently helmed the creation of the six-part documentary series titled “Truth & Lies” (2023), delving into contemporary and historical instances where truth is manipulated for influence and control. His latest feature documentary, “Coming Home | Wanna Icipus Kupi,” has earned a CSA nomination in the Donald Brittain Award for Best Social/Political Documentary Program category.
