Rana Daoud

Rana Daoud is a Lebanese producer, editor, writer, director, and voice-over performer based in Istanbul. She began her podcasting journey in 2016 while studying at the American University in Dubai, after early career stints as a writer and translator with Arabic media outlets, and as a strategist and data storyteller at multinational agencies under WPP and Publicis.

She spent nearly seven years with Sowt, the Arab region’s leading podcast network, most recently as Head of Production-Studio, leading a team of producers and collaborators across original podcasts and white-label commissions in Arabic and English — spanning fiction and non-fiction, narrative and conversational, and children’s content in diverse dialects. Across Sowt’s original slate — including Dom Tak, an Arabic music podcast she co-produced and hosted — she led editorial craft, content development, and production from pitch through delivery.
