Alexandra Pauliat

Alexandra Pauliat is a documentary filmmaker and Executive Producer with over 25 years experience in international journalism.

She is currently in charge of People and Power, Al Jazeera’s current affairs and investigative program.

Previously, she co-founded Off The Grid, TRT World’s Emmy Award-winning documentary series. In addition to her executive role, she directed several episodes that were recognized with multiple international awards.

Alexandra began her journalism career as a correspondent for Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Southeast Asia. She went on to work with prominent global broadcasters, including France 24 and Al Jazeera, where she held a range of editorial and management roles.

She has been based in the Middle East for 15 years.
