Ian Rumsey leads ITN’s documentary and short-form originals team – one of Britain’s most respected and prolific production divisions, making a vast range of programmes for the UK and America. He is a BAFTA and RTS-winning journalist with more than 25 years’ experience in news production and programme-making. 

The diverse ITNP slate includes Harry: The Interview, The Confession for Amazon, Ancient Apocalypse for Netflix, Election debates and overnight specials, the Jeremy Vine daily show and Michael Palin’s travelogues, as well as Oscar-nominated For Sama and Watani: My Homeland. Ian previously worked in regional and national news and was Programme Editor of News at Ten and Head of Output at ITV News.
