Josella Waldron is a Senior Audio Producer at BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service). She joined twenty-five years ago as a radio journalist and spent a decade as the editor of the award-winning defence and foreign affairs discussion programme “Sitrep.”

For the last five years she has produced a wide range of podcasts for the British armed forces community, including “Near Death: Warrior on Fire” which was highly commended by judges at the 2024 AIBs. The judges praised the editorial idea that led to the making of this powerful personal account about survival with its brilliant use of sound design. The podcast also won Silver at both the ARIAS and the New York Festivals Radio Awards
