Dick is a Dutchman in disguise with 20 years of advertising experience, much of it in Asia, including in countries like Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singaporeand China. He is currently President and CEO of DDB Greater China Group and oversees five offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taipei. Under Dick’s leadership, DDB China Group was named 2010 Greater China Agency of the Year by both Campaign Magazineand Advertising Age China. Dick fully adheres to the late Deng Xiao Ping’s saying, “I don’t care what color the cat is as long as it catches mice”. His focus in the end goal, rather than the medium used to get there.
