Nader Sh Rad has 25 years experience in radio and television news and production. Since 2006 he has worked for Press TV, which is a 24/7 International English Language News Channel based inTehran,Iran. He is currently director of the Programs Production Department which first started out as the Live Programming department.
He directs and supervises program production (mostly news related) operations of all Press TV offices and bureaux (located in London, WashingtonD.C., Beirut, Islamabad, Berlin, Seoul, Baghdad, Kabul, New York, etc.).
From 1985 to 2006 Nader Sh. Rad worked in the IRIB World Service in Tehran, initially as a translator but then as an announcer and presenter in the English radio service. He then launched and headed up the IRIB English Television Service. In 2006 he changed his job to become director of the Live Programs department of Press TV before moving to his current post in 2009.
