Olivier de Montchenu joined Euronews in 2000 as Sales and Marketing Director. Since 2004, Olivier de Montchenu has also been Managing Director of Euronews Sales, the in-house worldwide sales organization of the international news channel
Olivier deMontchenu made his career in the television industry, and started at Havas Group, as Sales manager. He joined IP France as Commercial Director in charge of RTL9. From 1991 to 1993, Olivier enlarged his responsibilities when creating IP TV, the TV department of IP, commercializing airtime of RTL9 and TMC, before he moved to M6 as Commercial Director.
In 1995, Olivier has taken a different direction with international and became Commercial and Marketing Director of IP ARBO where he has developed TV media sales houses in 16 Central and Eastern countries.
From 1996 to 1998, Olivier deMontchenu launched IP in Turkey, the first international media sales house in the country,and acted as Managing Director of IP Turkey, based in Istanbul.Before joining IP Network in 1998 as Director of pan European activities to develop the sales revenues of pan European televisions such as BBC World, Euronews and Arte.
Olivier deMontchenu graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse, and has a Masters degree in Economics.
