Regina Goh heads Channel NewsAsia’s International Desk, overseeing the channel’s 10 bureaus acrossAsia. She leads a team of correspondents, editors and producers who cover the news and produce programmes for Channel NewsAsia and other MediaCorp platforms.
Regina began her career as a journalist with the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation – MediaCorp’s predecessor – and went on to present the news as well as produce documentaries and news programmes. Recent documentaries produced by her team include Unbroken Faith which dealt with the radicalization of terrorists in Indonesia’s jails and Guardian of the Nation which took an in depth look at the role of Thailand’s King Bhumipol Adulyadej amidst the Kingdom’s changing political landscape. Through the years, Regina has also overseen the launch of Channel NewsAsia’s flagship programmes such as Primetime News and most recently, Primetime Asia, a one hour news programme focusing on Asia, and drawing on the strengths of the channel’s network of correspondents in the region.
