The AIB had a very interesting meeting today with London and Partners who are the Promotional Agency for London. They are planning lots of help for broadcasters at the London 2012 Olympics, both for rights holders and for non-rights holders, and we are discussing with them how to make sure broadcasters are aware of all the possibilities and also how broadcasters can input their needs and requirements.
As an accessible, historic, vibrant and multi-cultural city, London has a lot to offer next summer to go alongside the magnificent spectacle of the Olympic games. The AIB is excited to be able to help broadcasters make the most of the opportunities and will be sending out more information to its members and to other media companies as soon as it is available.
