Michael Hill – Founder and MD – Radioplayer

Michael Hill is Founder and MD of Radioplayer, which started as a partnership between the BBC and UK commercial radio. It aims to keep radio listening simple, particularly on devices which are connected to the internet. 

The Radioplayer platform now includes web players, apps, integrations with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Googlecast and smart watches, a voice interface on the Amazon Echo, and voice-controlled hybrid automotive hardware. The technology is rolled out to 8 countries, with more to follow. 

Mike was previously at the BBC, where he ran several national radio networks, developed new digital products and services, led major strategic transformation programmes, and managed creative and journalistic teams.
