Michele Romaine has had a 35 year career in broadcasting. She was a producer for national news at both the BBC and ITV and went on to be Head of Production for the creation of BBC News 24, the forerunner to the News Channel. She was responsible for the production of 60 hours of live broadcasting a day on BBC News 24, BBC World and Radio 5 Live. As Director of Production for the BBC she then ran the BBC’s Production base making the Corporation’s most familiar radio and television programmes.
For the last 10 years she has run her own media consultancy and has with worked with broadcasters across the world including two spells as Interim Director of News and Current Affairs for TVNZ in New Zealand.
