Nina-Maria Potts
Nina-Maria Potts serves as Chief Operating Officer for the international broadcast news agency, Feature Story News. Before her appointment in July 2025, she served as Director of Global News Coverage overseeing the company’s daily editorial output- a role she developed for over a decade. Nina is also an on-camera TV journalist with more than 20 years of experience reporting for multiple networks worldwide. Nina has been based in Sydney, Beijing, Brussels, London, and Washington.
Apart from driving daily global news output for Feature Story News’ broadcast clients, Nina has directed news coverage of all the major global events over the past ten years, including four US presidential elections, several Olympic games, the pandemic, Brexit, the Queen’s jubilee and funeral, multiple international elections, major terror attacks, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and the civil wars in Sudan and Ethiopia.
In 2020, Nina won a Peabody for her contribution to the PBS Newshour’s Covid-19 coverage. She is also a regular contributor to WAMU/NPR’s 1A on international affairs and has been involved in training journalists all over the world.
