In my career spanning over two decades, I have worked for many assignments with public broadcasters,  All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan (DD). This includes heading of regional bureaus in states of India, field reporting from Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. My special coverages include reporting for PM Narendra Modi’s state visits to Sri Lanka and Maldives, Easter Sunday attacks in Sri Lanka and Presidential elections in Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. I am currently working as Director (news) in DD news looking after newsroom operations, current affairs programming, documentation and exchange with Asia vision network (AVN) member broadcasters. I have also a brief association with ground level communication efforts of Government of India on social issues including health and welfare.
